This project was considered to be Phase I of II, with the second phase being the Adopt a Headstone project which started in 2022 and will be completed in 2023 and can be found under Current Projects
The base of the monument was repaired and the area landscaped by Marsh Builders and Renovators.
The restoration of the monument, and the installation of the memory boards, has transformed the area around the monument into a special memorial park where all can come, read the stories of these young men and reflect on the sacrifices they made.
The project was completed with funding from Veterans Affairs, Government of Canada; a donation from the Town of Trinity and funds raised from a hooked mat of St. Paul's Anglican Church that was sold on tickets and private donations.
